Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity to increase homes in Verde Valley
Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Tania Simms updated the club on Habitat projects. Simms said the organization has completed 13 homes in the Verde Valley. Habitat hopes to increase home building for low-income homeowners to three to four per year. Visiting Rotarian John Oliver (left) challenged members of the club to match his $100 gift to Habitat for Humanity. Also pictured is Club Secretary Dave Young who facilitated the June 9 meeting.
Assistant District Governor (5490) and the Club's PR Director Renata Barnwell finishes the year saying the district level is a great place to work. She said two new clubs were added to her Area 6: Grand Canyon and Williams. Our area also includes our club, Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks, and Rotary Club of Verde Valley/Cottonwood.

Nov. 19-22--USA/Mexico Friendship Conference & Global Grants Exchange, in Sedona.
