The club announced the selection of Natalie Grandaw (far left) as a Rotary Honor Student for the 2014/15 school year. Natalie, a senior at Verde Valley School, was selected by her school's faculty and staff for her community service, demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent academic record. She will receive a $500 scholarship for the college of her choice. Natalie hopes to attend Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York and major in Criminal Justice and Psychology to be a criminal profiler.

Sandra Cosentino from Crossing Worlds Hopi Projects spoke to the club during its Jan. 13 meeting. Her interactive presentation demonstrated the importance of sharing cultures.
