First Rotary Sparks Event: Spring Wine Tasting
A near capacity crowd showed up at the Bill's residence for the first Rotary Sparks Event to benefit Big Park School and the Imagination Library. The event provided a great opportunity to socialize with members and spouses, provided a glimpse of the club to guests and $1320 to be divided between Imagination Library and Big Park School International Baccalaureate project. A big thank you to Hosts Jannette and David Bill, Danielle Giann and Damian Bruno and Lori and Tom Zaleski for making the first Sparks Event a great success.
Hosts Lori and Tom Zaleski greeted guests with Champaign and name tags at the door. Inside guests chatted, munched on light appetizers and sipped their Champaign. Wes and Rebecca Schemmer of Vino di Sedona provided a selection of red and white wine for people to sample at their leisure.Once everyone had arrived Jennette briefly explained for the benefit of spouses and other guests what the Imagination Library project is all about and the needs of Big Park School.
Whoever was in charge of the weather did a perfect job making the tables that had been set up on the patio a very comfortable place to get acquainted with new members, spouses and guests. As a thank you to participants, Jan Groves gave each one a number for a ball that will be part of the Golf Ball Drop this fall.
