Stars of "Aladdin" visit club

Three stars from the Missoula Children's Theatre Production of Aladdin performed their favorite song from the June 11 performance held at Verde Valley School. Bella, Lily, and Sierra Williams, of Sedona, also shared their experiences and the characters they played: (L-R) a sailor, a penguin, and a vagabond. The Rotary Club of Sedona helped sponsor the production, which had 51 local children participate. Sierra also announced she raised $554 in 5 hours for support of the production. Way to go Sierra!

Tim Ernster celebrates last meeting as club president with a song

Vicky Oldham accompanied Tim Ernster as they performed the song of the day reflecting Tim's last meeting as club president. Tim will share his serious reflections during the club's Installation Dinner next Tuesday, June 28 at Sedona Rouge. In the meantime, enjoy the first stanza:
Show me the way to go home
I'm tired and I want to go to bed
Had a club meeting 'bout an hour ago
And it's gone right to my head
Everywhere I roam, Over land or sea or foam
You can always hear me singing this song. Show me the way to go home.

Club recognizes Missoula Children's Theatre local organizer Nicole Davis

Nicole Davis, organizer of the local Missoula Children's Theatre Program received kudos for her dedication in coordinating its annual summer performances. She thanked both Bonnie and President Elect Jennette Bill for their support. Bonnie presented Nicole with a certificate and Club President Tim Ernster presented her with a "Gift to the World" Rotary pin.
