Thai New Year CelebrationSunday, April 11, 2010 at 5:00 pm Tara Thai Restaurant, Bell Rock Plaza Over 60 people attended the Songkran event. Ladies were given decorations made of orchids and other small white flowers that formed a purple and white ring. There was endless wonderful food, massage, music and dancers, games and prizes. Renata and Richard Barnwell have front row seats for Simon Ho's demonstration of the traditional method of making noodles. No extrusion or slicing, just keep making the strands of dough longer and thinner.
