Dick Youngberg Receives Above and Beyond Award

Special Service Above Self Honor
Richard and Renata Barnwell received a special award for having contributed so much to the Rotary Club. This year Renata has headed up the PR Committee in addition to Club Administration, which includes scheduling speakers for the meetings, planning and locating the Holiday and Installation events. Richard has co-chaired the Chili Cook-off, regularly chefs the Sedona Suppers and helped to coordinate the very successful Hoedown for the USA/Mexico Friendship Conference. Richard and Renata have also been honored for their contributions to District 5490.

Unfortunately, Richard and Renata are moving back to their house in California. They will be sorely missed.

Adopt A Family Project
Rotary ElfThank you to all the generous Rotarians who contributed gifts and money for our adopted family of eight! Each child in the family received at least two gifts. The family also received nearly $500 in gift cards. The following was received today from the Food Bank:

"The father and son came in late last night to pick up the booty of gifts. You and your club hit it out of the park. The father broke down with the generosity extended by your club.
Thank you and have a blessed Christmas,
Cathleen"
