Big Brothers Big Sisters

John McTurk, recruitment & fund development coordinator for Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters said the organization is still here in the Verde Valley and going strong!  "Our goal is to service / mentor every child in the Verde Valley!" To accomplish this goal, John said they need the support of our community. "It costs $1,200 annually to support each match." He said they are also hoping to move their office to Sedona in the very near future to better reach both children and donors of our Verde Valley." We have many different opportunities for our community to help out, such as making contributions, becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister, or volunteer to help with events." The organization also qualified to the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.
