Club president David Simmer led his last meeting before he passes the gavel on to president-elect Tim Ernster during the Installation Ceremony to be held on Tuesday, June 30. He lauds the work of leaders past and future. "What makes our club so special is that each year builds on the work and enthusiasm of the leaders who have come before. I just worked to continue to build on that foundation," he said. "I think I am even more excited about Tim Ernster's upcoming presidency as an opportunity to expand our service and grow our club. I know that he will benefit, as did I, from devoted committee chairs, a thoughtful board and committed members of the club." He adds, "Our mantra should always be that next year will be our greatest year yet."
