Batter up for Rotary

About seven plus club members celebrated Rotary Day at Arizona Diamondbacks Chase Field on Sept. 13. Kudos to John Crawford for coordinating this club activity. Club members got to see themselves up on the big screen (see below).

Bialek lives Gently Well

Rotarian Wendy Bialek shared with the club her wellness and lifestyle coaching practice to achieve functioning at an optimal level to transform your life. Wendy's one-year anniversary with the club is Sept. 23. Her first year involved many Rotary projects including counselor for exchange student Natasha, champion of the Community Service yoga first responders, and the human trafficking project. Also pictured is her husband Bernie. They have been in Sedona for 12 years and have a 12-year-old son, Ashton. Wendy is also famous for her beautiful weavings, which she has done for over 40 years.

Bashas' Cards available--another way to support your club

Dick Youngberg demonstrated how easy it is to purchase and reload a Bashas' community card. Please see Dick for a replacement or new card. He has full instructions for use. The club receives about $1,000 each year from this program.
