School van pick-up at Red Rocks High School Wed, Jun 10 at 11:30, arriving at camp around 1:30.                                               Bus returns on Saturday, June 13 around 1:00 PM, also at Red Rocks High School

Pot-Luck Dinner at the Sedona Art Center. Members - feel free to bring significant others and friends, but let President Elect Haymar Britton know so we can plan for food.  Bring your own beverages.  This is a celebration of the 2025-26 Rotary Year and the lauch of the 2026-27 year.  We'll be installind new Board Officers and inducting new members. District Governor Jim Schmidt will be with  us to celebrate

We have invited as many parents as can come to tell us what a difference it makes for the children and themselves!

Housing & Childcare are critical for Sedona's Workforce! Some of Sedona's service workers live in Sedona - and many do not.  They are able to drive to work with their K-5 grade children and pick them up after work at West Sedona School's Extended Day Program anytime before 6PM.   Hear what a difference it makes for parents, children, and their employers!

Wildcat Extended Day Director Jess Sweeney and West Sedona School Principal will share plans for 2026-27. Then let's Fundraise and help our working families!

Rotary Club of Sedona's Charitable Fund contriibuted over $100,000 in the 2025-26 school year to fund West Sedona School's Extended Day that helps Sedona's working parents, their children and employers. Fun, affordable, flexible, onsite, supervised, clubs, homework help and tutoring are available until Parents can get off work. Changes to make the Program even better are coming in 2026-27.  Hear the plan from West Sedona School Principal and  Wildcat Extended Day Director

Club Board Meeting with DG Jim Sweeney

Our Rotary District 5495 covers the northern 2/3rds of AZ and more, including metropolitan Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff and nearby cities in CA and NV.  The District Governor visits ALL the Rotary Clubs in the district, bringing and sharing information from what he has learned - and what we can learn.

Charitable Fund Board Members attend.  All Club Members are welcome to join us before the Club Meeting that starts at noon. This is an important meeting before our Club's Sponsorship Drive  kicks-off at our September 10th Social at David Simmer's home. 

Join fellow Rotarians from all clubs in Sedona and Cotttonwood to help package food for distribution in Sedona and the Verde Valley to schools and those in need. They buy local produce and obtain food at wholesale prices. Their refrigerator trucks are able to distribute fresh produce. This is a recurring service project the second Thursday of every month.  

David Simmer has generously offered his home in Flagstaff to host our Club's first Social of the year for members, significant others and friends who might be interested in joining  our Club or helping with our Sponsorhsip Drive for  projects that help Working Families serving Sedona. Carpooling is strongly recommeneded.  For members, David's address is available on  ClubRunner after you sign, and  I will send the address to those that RSVP to me, Jeancbarton@icloud.com.

"ShelterBox Ambassador Leo Lawrenson, the D5500 District Governor Elect (as of July 1) and a member of the Rotary Club of Oro Valley, will provide a brief history of ShelterBox, an organization dedicated to providing shelter after natural and man-made disasters, its current worldwide deployments and what you might do to help."
