Inspiration for the Year

In her remarks as new Club President, Holli Ploog announced the RI theme for the year is "Be Inspired." Holli stated how inspired she is by "each club member and our shared values. Rotary  improves the lives of people in our communities. Our values and passion to make a difference come from core strengths which have defined Rotary since it’s inception." Holli is especially proud of the Village Club. "Thirty-three new Rotarians will now be the foundation of a new club--twice as many Rotarians to live by the four way test and do good work for our Village community."  She ended her remarks with a Margaret Mead quote: "Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For indeed, that’s all who ever have." Holli's theme for the year not only dovetails on Margaret Mead's quote, but is exemplary of the club itself: "A few caring people can change the world."
