| Over 60 people attended the club’s Jan. 10 meeting to hear how Mark Cary, a 55-year-old retired Marine and Border Patrol Officer, and his son Shane, helped displaced Ukrainians on the Ukrainian/Polish border. “I don’t feel like I can sit back and do nothing while people’s entire lives are being destroyed,” Cary said. Mark and Shane have been back and forth helping the people of Ukraine. “If (we) can help someone and have an impact, I believe that is a way to help heal the world.” |
