Tee Up Fore Team Big Park Fundraising Events

Village Satellite Member Jan Groves presented on the Tee Up Fore Big Park activities to benefit Big Park School. The fundraising events will start with Sip & Savor on Friday, Oct. 6, at the Vista Room in the Collective. The event will include live and silent auctions. MC Jennette Bill and Auctioneer Kris Kazian will have fun drumming up bids for some great trips, dinners and other experiences. Saturday, Oct. 7 will be family day, with a BBQ, putting contests for kids and adults, car shows and the helicopter ball drop. Rotarian Rebecca Miller announced where tickets will be available for golf balls. They hope to have 1,000 balls dropped. All event information can be found, reservations made, and balls purchased for the ball drop at Village Satellite Chair Lori Zaleski announced the book "Surf's Up" will be donated to the Sedona Public Library on Jan's behalf.

New inductees & a visit to Telluride

The Village Club welcomed Gabrielle and Scott Anderson, who were inducted during last Thursday's meeting. Also pictured is Membership Chair Bonnie Best.
Club President Dave Young (left) and Rotarian John Crawford visited the Rotary Club of Telluride where they exchanged flags. John said the club welcomed the arrival of three exchange students from Latvia, Switzerland, and Chile.

Tee Up for Eddie's Memorial Golf Tournament

Time to register for Eddie's Sept. 3 Golf Tournament. Cost is $125 for individuals and $500 per team. Sponsorships are still available: $250 Hole Sponsor; $1,000 Tee Sponsor; and $3,500 Presenting Sponsor. For more information and to register go Registration forms need to be received by Aug. 18. Event proceeds to benefit the Verde Valley Imagination Library.
