Rotarian helps Vets with PTSD

Jerry Wesch, one of the club's newest members, shared his research on Veterans and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, during the club's meeting on Jan. 5. Jerry has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and has been a psychologist for 45 years focusing on holistic treatment of trauma, chronic health issues and pain. He has started a Sedona PTSD Recovery Project to implement a pilot integrative medicine PTSD program to Veterans throughout the Verde Valley. The program provides treatment to Veterans, trains healthcare providers for PTSD recovery, and educates the public about the integrative care available. Jerry invited members of the club to volunteer to help with the program. For more information go to: http://www.sedonaptsdrecovery.org.
