Event sparks support for Verde Valley Imagination Library & Big Park School

Club President Jennette Bill and her husband David held the first Rotary Sparks Event in their home to benefit Big Park School and the Verde Valley Imagination Library. The event provided an opportunity for members, prospective members, and spouses to socialize and support club projects. The event raised $1,320 to be divided between Imagination Library and Big Park School International Baccalaureate project. As a thank you to participants, Satellite Club Member Jan Groves gave each guest a number of a ball to be part of the Golf Ball Drop during a fall fundraiser for Big Park School. A big thank you to hosts Jennette and David Bill, Danielle Giann and Damian Bruno, and Lori and Tom Zaleski for making the first Sparks Event a great success.

Jennette encourages members to keep the Sparks Events flying, "so you can further your dreaming to benefit your favorite cause." Members can decide if they want to host a dinner party, backyard BBQ, a game night, or another fun event. Hosts provide food, drink and fun. Tickets can range from $25 to $75 per person. Simply fill out the flier Jennette recently sent and return to Sparks@SedonaRotary.org.
