Fire Side Chat at Les Springs

Membership Committee Chair, Pam Frazier, organized a Fireside Chat Thursday evening for new and prospective Rotarians.
Committee and Project Chairs shared information about the various club activities to give new members an idea of the kinds of involvement that are available. Catherine Moore explained how to get rid of the "new member" sticker on your name tag. The Fireside Chat combines food and socializing with an informative program. Great job Pam and the Membership Committee!

Kudos to John Crawford

President Tim Ernster recognized John for taking on important roles in the club. First, he took on the sign-in desk when Rod Abbott was no longer able to do it. Now he has picked up the task of scheduling speakers for our meetings. Not only that, but he will coordinate our special event dinners as well. This is a great example of getting involved with the club.

If you have a program idea, John will certainly be interested in hearing about it.
Vocational Training Team From Brazil
Visiting team of young professionals from Rotary District 4480 in Brazil introduced themselves and their district at the January 12 meeting.
Professor Diego da Silva Rico Nunes introduced the team and their district. Participants Elder Piccoli, Pedro Secanho, Mariana Pasqualon Luciano, Rainer A.F. Souza and Marina Colombini Bergemann each shared a brief bio.
