Sedona Village Rotary Club helps protect Oak Creek  

 
The Rotary Club of Sedona Village and the Oak Creek Watershed Council gathered on Memorial Day to clean up Oak Creek from Red Rock Crossing on the Sedona Village side of the creek. As the event gathered momentum 24 people met down at the parking lot near the end of Verde Valley School Road. The group of Rotarian's and other locals concerned about keeping our treasured Oak Creek clean during these busy holiday weekends then walked down to the creek. About 67 pounds of trash was collected and removed from the creek and surrounding area. Members of the Sedona Village Rotary Club said they were honored to clean and protect our natural resource Oak Creek. They plan to join with Oak Creek Watershed Council again in the fall, possibly after Labor Day weekend. If you are interested in participating please contact the Sedona Village Rotary Club. The club thanks Oak Creek Watershed Council for all they do.

Eddie's Promise Memorial Golf Tournament

Save the date for Eddie's Promise Memorial Golf Tournament to be held Sept. 3 at Sedona Golf Resort. Proceeds of the event to benefit Verde Valley Imagination Library. Event will include a silent auction. Photos of items, registration and sponsorship information will be on our website soon.
