Singer/songwriter Shondra Jepperson entertained the club during its June 7 meeting. Shondra, a graduate of Julliard's Acting School in New York, talked about her work with the Sedona Youth Theatre and the Rules of Improv. "You have to show up big in life," Shondra says, and "we demonstrate that in Youth Theatre." Shondra explains the first rule of improv is to never say "no" but rather "yes, and . . . ." Saying yes, she adds, creates mutual respect and understanding for others, as well as "good material." Shondra acknowledged the good work the club does. Club President Tim Ernster announced a book titled "Creative Dance," will be donated to the Sedona Public Library on behalf of her visit. Tim thanked Shondra and her husband Tom for all the volunteer work they do. "This means so much to me," she said.
