Join club members and friends of Rotary as we prepare and serve a nutritious meal to members of the community....most of whom are food insecure.  We have fun while doing a great service for the community.

Dr. Julie Williams, a Sedona resident, will speak to us on the work that she does in Nepal to help working families.

On Tuesday, May 14 we will hear from former emergency room doctor, Dr. Julia Williams.  She founded HERO 14 years ago to help citizens of the earth who live in very remote locations like Nepal.

Every quarter or so, our Trash-Master, Gary Karademos rounds up the troops and we head out to the parking lot on Cultural Park Place (near the recycling bins) and we spread out and make Sedona beautiful again by cleaning the first mile of highway west of town.  You never would imaging that picking up trash can be so fun and rewarding....but this is a legacy project for our club and Gary does a great job getting us organized.  Join the FUN.  Tell Gary you want to be part of this fun service activity!

The Rotary Club of Sedona CHARITABLE FUND meeting monthly on the third Monday of the month.  Generally they meet in person though they offer the opportunity to participate by Zoom.  Board meetings are open to all members of the club.  Check with Charitable Fund President Jean Barton about location for the meeting.  You can reach Jean at jeancbarton@icloud.com.

An important element of Working Hard for Working Families must be finding ways to make Sedona a great place to live, work and raise a family for the Hispanic Families.  Roxana will share with us the initiatives of the Sedona Public Library to support the Hispanic community.

Here's an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and volunteer with Rotarians to pack food at Manzanita Outreach in Cottonwood.  This is a great time and if you haven't already done so, take the tour during your visit to learn about all the great work of this organization.  We volunteer in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Sedona Village -- our former satellite club.  What fun to socialize while you are helping those who are food-insecure in the Verde Valley.  Carpool if you can.   You won't be sorry that you took a little time to make the lives of others better!!!!  Heck, bring a friend!!!!

Charitable Fund Board Meeting will be held this month at the home of Jacqui Cambata in the Village of Oak Creek.  Her address will be sent in a separate email.  Both Board and Club members are invited. For those that can't attend in person, a Zoom link will be sent the morning of the meeting.

The 2023-24 Class of the Rotary Leadership Academy will be celebrating their graduation with a luncheon at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass.  Eight leaders from District 5495 will be celebrated.

The incoming class of the AZ Rotary Leadership Academy will be meeting for the first time.  This workshop will follow the Luncheon to celebrate the 2024 graduating class of AZ RLA.

The Rotary Club of Sedona is the sponsor club for middle-school Interact.  The new faculty advisor, Isabel Fritzler, will join us to learn more about Rotary and share her plans for the Ineract Club.
